Curious about using botanical dyes but mystified by mordants? Many plants, including some that are native in our environment, contain pigment that people have used for thousands of years to create beautiful lasting color on plant and animal fibers. But getting the color to stick often requires a process to prepare your fibers to accept and lock in the pigment. Join me for a class in preparing natural fibers (yarn, roving, fabric, etc.) to take the mystery out of natural dyeing! All materials are provided.
